I have learned that the one leaning towards divorce is often dealing with Pressure from the leaning-in spouse and family seeing them as not committed to the marriage by choosing divorce/separation, especially with divorce as liberation, there is ambivalence about DC leading to path three for divorce as freedom folks.

I have learned that the person wanting to preserve the marriage is often dealing with Emotional dysregulation and fear of being divorcee even when not happy with the marriage, they would keep it as it is for the sake of the children, they are conflicted and wish to save the marriage yet want a 50/50 share if path three is an option.

I have been working with couples since 2017.
